Storytelling from the Scotish Storytelling Centre

This morning on NPR's Weekend Edition Sunday, Rob Gifford had a great story about stories -- or at least storytelling. It caught my ears' attention.

Kathleen McCarren, who was attending a performance of a storyteller appearing at the Centre, remarked, "We've become so clever and so sophisticated with technology that we've almost taken entertainment as far as we can with computers and special effects. And, there's nothing left to invent so we're going back to the original art form -- the original mass entertainment form which was storytelling."

Listen.
