Closing The Book On The Bush Legacy
This Census Bureau report is an indictment of our country and its no matter what your political beliefs are.
If you believe that the government is responsible for reducing poverty, educating children and providing health care by any measure, the government has failed during the last 8 years.
If you believe that that the government has no role in these areas, then you must accept that our nation's faith community and non-profit sector have failed during the last 8 years.
In either case, we've failed to lift up the "least of these" among us. The question is, what are we going to do about it?

I think that Steinbeck guy was onto something. That's why I'm sharing these stories.
