What makes more sense, an energy tax or sending your kid to Afghanistan and Iraq?
Energy independence would solve a lot of our foreign policy problems, yet our politicians are too timid to enact the only serious solution: a hefty energy tax.

I think that Steinbeck guy was onto something. That's why I'm sharing these stories.
